Hello everyone, My name is Dan. I transferred here from tc3. I am a local from a town close by called Trumansburg. I’m on the soccer team here at SUNY Cortland and I’m enjoying every minuet of it. Looking forward to getting to meet you all.

My name is Gianno and i’m fairly local, living only 40 minutes away in a small town named Newark Valley. I wrestle on the wrestling team here at suny cortland and love it. I’ve come to fall in love with words and even have a notebook i’ve been working on filling with my favorite words/ phrases. Looking forward to the semester with you all 🙂

Hi everyone, my name is Malley Bowen. I am a transfer student from Keystone College which is a small private school about 20 minutes outside of Scranton Pennsylvania. I am a junior here at Cortland. I am a Early Childhood Education major with a concentration in english. I enjoy sports a lot, I was a member of the varsity volleyball team in the fall, and now I am a member of the varsity track and field program.

Hello everyone! My name is Madeleine Grobelny and I am a second semester freshman. I spent my last semester at Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) as a criminology major before transferring to SUNY Cortland. My major is professional writing due to my passion of most types of writing. I own and manage an online writing company with which I self publish as well as publish for my sister and a couple other people.

Hey guys, my name is Christopher Hackett and I’m from Malverne, New York. Malverne is a small town on Long Island and that’s where I learned and developed the love for basketball and football. I’m currently a political science major here at SUNY Cortland and I can’t wait to meet and work with you guys in class!

Hi everyone! My name is Rose. I’m from Cairo, Egypt, and I’m a sophomore Inclusive Childhood Education major. English is my third language (after Arabic and French), and the one I’m most comfortable using. I love digital art, composing/transcribing music, and writing.

My name is Michael and I am from Staten Island, NY. I am an adolescent education major specializing in English. I played soccer throughout high school and follow the sport.

Hey guys! My name is Lauren and I am a first-year business economics major. I am from Syracuse, New York and one of my favorite things to do is go to the SU basketball games when I’m home. I spend the majority of my free-time at school going to the gym, listening to music and hanging out with my friends but am also considering rushing this semester. One last fun fact about me is I am an absolute coffee addict and can not start my day without it! Super excited for the semester.

Hello everyone my name is Owen Pugh and I am a sophomore studying GIS here at SUNY Cortland. I am from Kings Park NY, which is on the north shore of Long Island. Some of my interests include watching sports like hockey and MMA. I also enjoy spending time with my friends.

Hi! My name is Matthew O’Hea and i am a junior at SUNY Cortland, majoring in Business Economics. I am from East Setauket, NY, which is located on Long Island. I have interests in writing and literature, so i find that this class will be very exciting and i cant wait to get started!
